Tips on leaving Dewi alone as a puppy
As a full time student I spend most of my time at home, which is why I was confident this was the best time to get a puppy, allowing me to keep an eye on him whilst he's learning new things. However I work on the weekends and two days in the week therefore at some point Dewi was going to have to be left alone. This led me to the internet to do a a bit of reading about leaving your puppy/dog at home. There's lots out there, and it's useful especially if your a first time dog owner and I suggest you definitely do a bit of research into the breed of dog you're getting. Some breeds are more likely to suffer from separation anxiety if left for long periods. Obviously every dog is different, however Dachshunds and Jack Russells are less likely to suffer from this, which is another reason I went for this breed.
